The public is invited to attend the group’s monthly meeting from 9:30 a.m.-noon this Saturday at Thelma Parker Memorial Library. It begins with a business meeting, followed by show-and-tell and sharing of new ideas and techniques.
Mauna Kea Quilters, started in 1997, is a group of patchwork quilters who enjoy sharing their love of quilting with others. Each year they donate many quilts to help raise money for worthwhile nonprofit organizations in the area, as well as the police/fire department and North Hawaii Community Hospital for those in need.
